When private is the right call
Group of 6+: per-person cost gets competitive with the group tour, and you avoid sharing the boat with strangers.

From about seven people. At twelve guests the €1,200 boat works out at €100 each against €110 for a group seat, so past that point private is both cheaper and better. Below six the group tour is clearly the better value unless the timing matters more than the money.
How much is a private Blue Cave charter from Split?
€1,200 for the whole boat, up to 12 guests, for the full five-island route. Skipper, sailor, fuel, mooring, insurance and snorkel gear are included. The cave entrance fee of €18 to €24 per person is cash on Bisevo and is never included.
What do you actually get on a private charter?
The afternoon. The cave still dictates the morning because the light window does not move, but after Bisevo the day runs on your clock: longer at Stiniva, a proper lunch in Komiza, Hvar for as long as you want.
Can we change the route on a private charter?
Within reason, and the skipper decides on the day based on the sea. The Blue Cave morning is fixed; everything after it is negotiable. Tell us what matters most and the route gets built around that.
